For housing, or if you offer cable internet service providers, to go with them from one point of contact for troubleshooting (broadband internet connection and phone) - if the problem can happen - especially because it may be easier to get internet and phone in the combined package.

However, if it is not easy, and you can set yourself out to move or travel around, rather than shop around.

Here are some observations and recommendations:

1) Decide what features you really need to help you determine the VoIP provider to use.

2) Decide if you need to remove your phone number available. Some VoIP service providers kukuruhusu don t do this even though many now do.

3) VoIP service depends on the quality of your broadband network services that you are connected to the Internet. This has nothing to do with the VoIP provider, but your cable or DSL Internet service providers (unless they also offer VoIP services). Some have had good experiences with the cable when I've heard from others that their good DSL service to work.

4) Quality Codecs and echo canceller technology used in voice gateway (provided by the VoIP provider), your IP phone (if you do not use the analogue t / POTS phone) or a SIP PC client you will have a major impact on service quality. This influence longer to hear things are not impossible that echos a conversation or speech that causes clipping your sound off. The problem is that often the sound quality in the direction so you can hear a loud noise but you can call someone is to understand your problem. Technologies continue to mature and improve, then it is best to read user reviews of equipment.

5) Use the power of up to a router, DSL / Cable Modem and VoIP gateway. Get 250VA (or greater) plus the power of PCs and other office equipment to justify the cost up. If the power went out at home, internet connection so often push up your equipment, you can still call long as you have backup power. A cell phone also acts as a backup phone service.

In summary, the quality of your experience really depends on who your mobile and VoIP providers could be given to providing better services in some markets and poor service in other markets. Size companies do not provide commensurate with the quality of care. I have had many tell me that they are very poor quality VoIP services from Tier 1 incumbent cable operator. Therefore, you will need to try some VoIP service providers before the remaining one or you can luck out with your first try.
